Nestled in the beautiful Dartmoor countryside, the venue provided the perfect setting for a celebration full of love, laughter and unforgettable moments.

With its characterful stone barns, sweeping rural views and peaceful surroundings, Higher Beardon Barn is a wonderful choice for couples looking for a rustic countryside wedding venue in Devon. The stunning location offers endless opportunities for beautiful group photographs, and with Dartmoor right on the doorstep, we were able to make the most of two separate portrait sessions. We slipped away for just 15 minutes to a beautiful tree-lined road, creating a romantic woodland feel, before heading onto the open moor later in the evening as the sun began to set, where breathtaking views provided the perfect backdrop to end the day.
Kyle and Lucy chose to have a second photographer, which meant we could capture both bridal and groom preparations simultaneously. It also allowed us to document even more candid moments throughout the day, as well as different perspectives during the ceremony and celebrations.
A beautiful day for a beautiful couple, and an absolute joy to be a part of.

We Hired Codie for our wedding, we don’t even know where to start! Codie and her second photographer (Hazel) was just amazing! They both blended so well with our guests and we felt so chilled around them. We had some sneak peaks shortly after the wedding. We absolutely love the photos we have seen so far!
